Apr 17, 2018 - After installing or updating Windows on a Mac using Boot Camp, you. Install the audio driver from your Mac OS disk or download the latest.
I'm not really sure. Maybe installing Bootcamp 5 first and uninstalling might have screwed things up? This might be a silly question but did you install the bootcamp drivers on the mac side? No it said when i installed bootcamp to install them on the windows side, and anyway they are all.exe files so i dont know if i could run them on the mac side.
Also everything works on the mac side just not on the windows side. Yeah that's right. It's been a while since I installed bootcamp.
Did you try installing the 32bit version if you installed the 64bit version or visa versa? I don't know I have another machine that game me problems with bootcamp where it didn't recognize certain hardware. 64-bit does not do anything faster than 32-bit Win 7.
64-bit allows you to use more than 4GB of memory which can allow you to run more apps, more efficiently. Driver support for both versions are virtually identical. What specific model of Mac is this? That has never been answered and with the info, it should be easy to locate the needed drivers for all devices, regardless of which version of Windows is used with Boot Camp. I doknt know how to tell what specific model it is but it is a black macbook (I think they only made 1 black mabook) and it is running 10.6.8 snow leopard.
When i try to download support software from the actual bootcamp application it says there i no software availiable, so i had to manually download it. This is an odd one. I have seen the disappearing sound icon/volume control in the taskbar resolved by updating video and audio drivers. In your case, you should already be good to go. There are also some Windows Updates that can affect these functions.
Is Windows fully up to date? In Device Manager, is any device flagged as having any issues (like unable to load drivers)? Also, I would go into the Control Panel /Power Options and disable both Sleep and Hibernate functions. Both of these functions can cause issues with Win 7 (you can search the forums for piles of these issues). Do this especially when using AC power. This is an odd one. Ok what you said about sound or video car drivers ight be whats causing it, but im not sure why. A while back i had a game installed and it ran fine, but recently it has said i have outdated video card drivers, and it cant run. I tried updating them, but it said they are fully up to date.
Idk if that helps or not. Nothing says it has driver issues or any other kind of issue in device manager. Also another strange thing is that it says plugged in and charging always. Even when it isnt plugged in. Disabling sleep or hibernate doesnt do anything.
About This site was created in January 2016 to supply the newest AMD graphics drivers to Boot Camp users who run Windows on their Mac. Official AMD PC drivers are not compatible with Mac versions of the graphics cards by default, leaving Boot Camp users stuck with dated and poorly optimized drivers that are not compatible with the latest games. I, Mat, modify the latest drivers in my spare time for my own iMac with the M295X graphics card, and make them available for download as soon as I am happy that they will work as expected for everyone else. Originally, the drivers were modified based on initial findings by Remko which he shared on his blog. However it became apparent that removing the blacklist IDs for each card & signing the driver wasn't enough.
A big thank you to everyone who donates to the cause. It massively helps to pay for website running costs and annually renewing the certificate (which is expensive!) to make sure the drivers keep working.
